Interested in taking your Permaculture education to the next level? Looking for hands-on skills in design and implementation? Join us for a fun-filled and active week as we implement some of Aprovecho’s design projects.

We will be redesigning the rainwater drainage system in the Aprovecho garden in order to incorporate the valuable runoff into a series of hand-dug swales and small ponds. We will develop skills in surveying, finding contour, swale building, passive water harvesting system design, and transitioning an annual production garden into a perennial-based food forest. We will also incorporate time for exercises, both mental and physical, to enhance our abilities to understand and implement integrated systems on any scale.

Prerequisite: Permaculture Design Certificate or experience in Permaculture.

Contact: Abel Kloster or Tao Orion for questions or to enroll. (541) 556-1426 or email: email
