Natural Building Practicum

Spring Session March 11th – June 3rd, 2012

Fall Session October 7th – December 20th, 2012

The Natural Building Practicum (NBP) is a three month work-study designed for the beginner in natural building.  Time is spent between work, hands-on instruction, and independent study.  Each work-study session will focus on a specific infrastructure project at Aprovecho unifying diverse natural building themes in the service of Aprovecho’s campus.  For more specific information on the curriculum please go here.

Depending on availability and the order in which you sign-up, either a room in the strawbale dormitory or camping facilities will be provided.  Meals are communal and participants are asked to share in the responsibilities of cooking and cleaning.  There is access to showers, a kitchen, hiking trails, and relaxation space.   If you have any questions please email Chris Foraker.
