ONE POSITION LEFT!

WE ARE STILL ACCEPTING APPLICANTS FOR THE SUNDAY LECTURE SERIES/PDC. MORE INFO HERE

This course is a unique opportunity to participate in a complete Permaculture Design Course while gaining the applied practice so often missing from more condensed programs.  Whether you have never taken a Permaculture Design course before or wish to re-visit the core teachings, this program is designed to be both a broad survey of Permaculture and an intensive hands-on skill-building series.  Upon completion of this course, students will receive their certificate in Permaculture Design.

The course runs four days per week for twelve weeks.    Each week consists of a day of lecture followed by three days of practice.                     See course schedule here.

Hands on projects will include ponds and other earthworks, land survey and map making, aquaculture, food forestry, eco-forestry, animal husbandry, ecological restoration, and rainwater harvesting.

Students will leave this program fully equipped to design and implement model Permaculture systems.

Cost:  $2,00 – $3,000.  Tuition for this course is on a sliding scale. The sliding scale is offered for attendees to pay within their means.  Tuition includes a room in our strawbale dormitory, 100% organic and mostly local meals, and all course materials.

The Sunday lectures are also offered at $75/day and $700 for the entire series and include a local and organic lunch.  The Permaculture Design Certificate is available upon completion of all 13 Sunday classes.
